Little CrowA Poem by ZDMusgroveJust a little poem I came up with on a passing whim.
Away, away it flew
To never be seen again. All it left for memory Was a light flutter of feathers. It had no song to sing Just a mocking caw to say. A terror to seeds big and small Every which day. Now that it is gone A pang in my heart can be felt. A troublesome nuisance it was, But it was my nuisance all the same. The days seem less exciting With no one to chase with the decrepit broom. We may have been at odds, But in a weird way we evened out our lives. So all I can say is "Goodbye, Little Crow."
