Beauteous Ocean

Beauteous Ocean

A Poem by Zac
"

The appearance of revitalization from such beauty can undoubtedly engulf the human faint-hearted and with iniquity t'will appear as something divinely sacrosanct and something benevolent.

"
A beauteous ocean, with a soundless tidal wave
O' how does this ocean determine -- to snare itself a slave?
O' how does this ocean decide -- to bound itself subside?
Its boundaries are secluded, within the earth submerged inside
Such a loving sight, of such its pretentious might
Must this ocean be glorified -- within a residing tide?
Whilst this ocean washes away -- a salubrious porpoise
This ocean deems itself to transfix the life within the life of a minuscule tortoise
O' why must this ocean -- sanction itself insatiable?
O' why must this ocean -- delay itself within itself intractable?
Is this ocean capable of the uncapable? This ocean will soon aflame, as if t'was inflammable
Shall this ocean ever notion its size to demise?
Shall its durance ever be understandable, from its indefinite disguise?
Shall this ocean continue the motion of its never ending lie?

Awesome work, Zac. Sometimes we can either find the answers we seek in nature, or we come across more questions that we must ask ourselves... the endless hypocrisy of the ocean is something that not only makes us question it's "intentions" but makes us question ourselves. This thing, this endless cycle, it falls through literal waves of opposing sides - the ocean pushes and pulls, creates and destroys, soothes and horrifies, breaks and makes. It is constantly undoing and redoing it's own work, as if whatever it does is always "good enough" but could always be better. One can only hope to let the waves wash them over and help them be the same, forever growing, forever changing for the better, pushing and pulling until we reach where we're meant to be. This was a wonderful read.
