What Happens when a heart shatters

What happens when a heart Shatters.

When a heart shatters, you don’t hear a thing.                 Crash. Smash. Break.  Shatter.                  As silently its pieces fall or soar through the air.                                             A silent Crash. A silent Smash. A silent Break. A silent Shatter.                                                                 

As those pieces get crushed underfoot,                                                                  or as they pierce anything standing in their way.                                                                      Slice. Rip. Slash. Crumple. Smash. Hurt. Ouch.                                             As they are slayed and as they slay.

Listen. Can’t you hear it shatter?                                                  Crash. Smash. Break. Shatter.                                              A silent Crash. A silent Smash. A silent Break. A silent Shatter.                                A soundless Smash, Shatter, Clatter.    

It’s left behind an empty frame.                                    An empty shell. A desolate vessel.  Useless. Empty.                                                           A vacant space, with nothing to fill it.                        Useless. Empty. Still there. But just barely. 

It Crashes. It Shatters. It Breaks. It Shatters.                            For when  a heart shatters this it what happens.                                        Its Crushed. It Clatters.  It Pierces. It Rips. It Slices. It Hurts.                        It Slays and is Slain. It Crumples. It Shatters.
