The Unexpected Meeting (1)

Early in the morning Mai bumps into a rude boy while going to school and the day gets more annoying when the same boy goes to the same school but will Mai finally meet her love or get destroyed?

Today was the first day of school,I had moved from Georgia to France because of my parent's job near the city but that was near the ocean that my parents got promoted.We bought a beach house that was well structured,the house just blended in with the scenery like a romantic picture,but since I had moved here I've had weird dreams about vampires,witches,ghost,and most of all,demons.

My alarm rang at exactly 6:45 in the morning,the sound of seagulls cawing for small fish and shellfish,the fresh breezy morning of sea salt smell coming in through my window from last night which I left opened,and the calming meditation sound downstairs in the morning,which I think woke me up.I went into the bathroom on opposite side of my bed was,I had the third largest room which was the smallest room of all bedrooms.The coolness of water splashing you in the morning felt like your putting your face in snow but at the same time you're bathing in the sun.After brushing my teeth and washing my face,I wore my new uniform which was a white shirt,black skirt,a black sweater,white knee length stockings,converse,and instead of a bow I wore a tie,and my treasure;a antique heart skeleton key,under my shirt, which mysteriously had a energy to it that made me go in an antique shop and choose the necklace and bought it when I was shopping out for the day two months ago.

I went downstairs to eat breakfast 7:20 in the morning,thirty five minutes later,dressing. "Hey,Mom." "Good morning,Mae." "Where's Dad?" "Apparently,Dad,went to work already,he said that he had a big project coming up soon." "Looks,like Dad's busy,what about you Mom?" "I'm going to work when you leave." "OK,Mom,how about Vanessa,is she still dressing or is she doing her morning run?" "Right,about now your sister should be coming now." The door opened and speaking of the devil she came in yelling "is breakfast ready!" "Yeah,breakfast is at the table;crepes filled with strawberries and chocolate and raspberry. "Really!" We both said it at the same time. "Yeah,your favorite,Mae and Vanessa to start off your day healthy and happy." I loved crepes with strawberries but my sister preferred raspberry,she hated strawberries because they had seeds outside,not like other fruits and thought that if she ate a strawberry a seed will choke her or grow inside of her. 

After finishing my delicious breakfast I checked everything in my bag.Check,check,check,and....Wait I'm forgetting my phone,I went upstairs to get my phone when I remembered that it was in my pockets.

I checked my bag one more time to see if I had anything missing."Do you want me to take you to school?" "Um,no I think I'll walk to school today to get some fresh air,and it's only 10-15 minutes away." "OK,call me if you need anything." I then headed out the door and my Mom locked up the house and headed into her car for work.I took out my phone to listen to music on the way to school and looked at the views.A few minutes later I saw an elder who had troubled walking and so I hurried to help her."Ma'm do you need help?" "I'm afraid so,but you don't need to help I can find another person to help, you can get going to school,young lady." "No,it's okay I'm only a little further from school.So where are you going?" "I'm going back home,my house is just two block away from here." "OK." I then took her home,her neighborhood was really pretty but the houses in the neighborhood looked like they were empty."Are you looking at the houses,you're probably wondering why the houses are empty?" "Huh,um yeah.Why are they empty though?" "Well,it's not the first time all the houses have been empty again.The houses have been bought a few times but that all changed ten years ago when people said that the houses were uncomfortable to live in and that the owners were only living in the houses for less than three months." "That's scary." That gave me the shivers down my spine.We then reached her house and there was someone waiting there it looked like a guy but when we got closer it was a boy who looked like he was older than me by a year or so.He was looking at me intensely with scary looking eyes. "Ma' what are you doing outside again you know that you're sick" "Well,luckily there was a young lady who helped me home." "You can call me Mae." "Well,Mae took her time to help me get home,and it's not like a son like you would help me take a walk or sit with me." "Whatever." The boy was rude to his own mom.I didn't like him. "Ah,sorry about that a useless son of mine,he'll never find a girl as beautiful and nice as you,oh and you can call me Miss Flare." "Okay,Miss Flare,are you alright?" "Yes,dear I am fine,and what school did you say you went too earlier? "Silver Light High School,ma'm." "Ah,that's a really great school,there are rare chances you get into that school because of how special the school is." "Really,but I don't know anybody who goes to that school yet so I'm alone for now." "Well,that's great,take you to the school,because he goes to to the same school too." "What! I ain't taking a lowly life hum..." The women then nudged her son. "Fine." He then grabbed his  bag and went out the gate. And he looked at him mom like he's going to get revenge back. "Aren't you coming?" "Ugh,yes,sorry." "Wait Mae,I've been wondering since I saw you,where did you get that necklace from?" "Oh,this I got it from an antique store downtown." "Really." "Hurry up!" "Sorry." "No excuses,just hurry up or we'll be late." 

That girl she has the necklace or it's another replica,but I'm sure it's the one.

After walking at least five minutes we had reached school.We heard a loud noise,like someone was banging gongs to let everyone know something important was going on,and something was going on.When we walked a little further the doors were closing and that was important.If the doors closed we'll miss the first day of school.We ran as fast as we could and the door closed,like a bang of cymbals clapping together.And we were in,catching our breaths,the bell suddenly rang and we suddenly ran again.We made it in time to get inside the school.And again catching our breaths,hard haling in and out about thirty times.I walked over to the one of the staff and ask where the sheet was where they listed your name for you homeroom. "The lists are here." "Thank you." "No need to thank me that's what teachers and staff are for." I looked over the sheets and I had Social Study as homeroom.The women's son was looking at the list too and guess what he was in the same class as I was in. "Really we're in the same homeroom? That's as bad as having cheese over your peanut-butter sandwich and mayonnaise." I said it like it was the worst situation in the world,and it kinda was.The second bell rang and we both headed our way to our class for homeroom."Okay class we have a few new students in our school." I was standing in front of the class,because it looked like the women's son came here last year and was famous with the girls,because of how I saw all the girls surrounding him and adoring him,while he just sat there smiling like a pervert,and that the girls were wearing the same uniform but had fancy jewelry on and heels and the boys wore the same thing,but instead of skirts they wore shorts or pants,mostly pants."Hi...My name is Mae Halo." "Okay,as in like halo angel or as in hey lamo!" A girl in the back said it out loud and everyone laughed,I didn't even think it was funny,and I knew me and her will not get along very well. "Ms.Blanc." "What,I was just trying to set the mood here in class,it so dull and plain." "Alright,but no bullying people on the first day." "Now class please,when I call your name please go to the seat I assign you seat." "What!" The class moaned,like they just saw a mythical creature going across their the room. "Izzy Brize,seat here. Jamie Dew,sit here. Kris Helle,sit here. So that's his name. Ken Hernandez,sit here. After seven names were called my name was finally called,but that would've been a mistake to have called me. "Mae Halo,sit here." I was suddenly sitting next to Kris the rude giraffe,whom I arrived with this morning who was rude to his mom.The teacher called at least fifteen more names. "Okay,guys you should get used to where you'll be sitting from now and onward till the second semester,unless you have a problem and if you do go speak with the principal.I forgot my name is Mr.Gold." Everyone laughed. "Very funny,but at least I am not a student here teaching you'll." Everyone went silent again. "Okay,here are you'll schedules for this semester." He handed out the schedule,to everyone. I looked over my schedule and I was happy I didn't have Agriculture or Consumer Science. I had;

"Do you want me to see your schedule too?" I looked to my right like my eyes wanted revenge for not knowing him,who was already crowded with girl's asking for his schedule. "Why would I want you,especially you to see my schedule?" "Well,do you see every girl asking me for my schedule?" "Well,yes." "Okay,then do you want me too?" "No,you probably can see it with your tall body even you can probably too can see it from the sky." "What,I was just asking,because a girl like you probably can't even get near a man or talk to one." "Well,look who I'm talking to or unless your a women." "Now your really getting on my f*****g nerves." "Oh,I'm so scared,now." "Whatever,why did I even ask a man,I'm not even gay." The third period bell rang and it was ELT. Fifty minutes of class each was okay but finally it was the last period of the day and it was chorus. Walking into the room was like taking a step in a foreign country. I took a seat in the front where the teacher took a step to the front of room to introduce herself. "Hello my little darlings,my name is Mrs. Diamond and this is chorus class as you can see.Well,here is what we are going to be today." On the board there were only two things on the board and it was introducing yourselves and picking a song for a project with a partner."Okay I will start with the front row." The first person who got up was a girl who was in my homeroom,Izzy Brize,she had short blonde hair,not like the other blonde girls who had long hair.Next was a girl who had long sleek,shiny almost as if she was the sun,her name was Selena Joya. Next was me,Mae Halo.I stood up in front of the class again like every other class I did,and introduce myself. "Ah,Ms.Halo,I heard that you won in the county for best singer." Said Ms.Diamond. "Yes." I replied nervously. I got everyone attention even the guy who was not paying attention in the last row with a few other girls crowding him too like Kris. One girl said that was not a big deal. "I won second place state championship." It was the same girl who said the lame joke this morning. "Ah,Ms.Blanc congratulations too,but I didn't think you deserved it." The teacher smirked. "What!" "I said congrats but your pick of a song was...Was too sexual appeal,while Ms. Halo voice flowed like a river in a summer's hot heat wave silently and beautifully." Everyone's eyes were still on me and smiling like they knew Ms.Diamond was going to say that. "Well,class let's continue introducing ourselves and see who you want your partner to be. Next person who was next was a boy who's name was Eric Bullet,he had orangish redish hair with freckles.After many names were called it got to the last person,the boy who was not paying attention the whole time. "Lucas Helle,you probably know my brother Kris Helle." "Ah,Mr.Helle congrats on winning first place again in state finals,and how is your brother?" "Thanks,and he's been doing okay." "Good to hear,good to hear." She said pleasantly. "Okay,students have you picked your partner?" "Yes!" The whole class answered back softly like they were tired and everyone was. "Luke!" "Luke!" "Luke!" Every girl was once again crowding him again like Kris was. "Umm...Luke do you want to be my... um partner?" "No." He said like he knew she was going to ask her and rejected like she was asking him out. "Why,I won second place in state finals." "So,like Ms. Diamond said you were to sexual. And I already have a partner I want to pair up with already." "Really,then who is it?" "Her." "Who's her?" I thought he was pointing to another person,but I found out that he was actually pointing at me. "Her!" "Yes,you got a problem?" "Yes,I do." "Then what?" "Why would you pick loser like her to be your partner?" "Again like Ms. Diamond said she has a voice of a flowing river in the summer's hot heat wave silently and beautifully." "Ugh,really? Fine,then I'll let it be for now." "Good." Luke's voice sturdy still like a straight line. "Hi." "Hi." "Do you know what song for the project to use?" "I haven't thought of one yet." "Okay,I haven't either.How about tomorrow what song we want to do to?" Luke said. "Sure." "Can I ask you a question?" I said politely like I didn't want to ruin this moment. "Yeah,sure what is it?" "Why did Ms. Diamond call you Lucas and why do others call you Luke?" "Lucas is my real name that I prefer.But I guess Luke is my nickname they gave me." "Which do you prefer me calling you?" "I don't care what you call." "Then I'll call you.... Lucas." He smiled at me as if it was the right answer or choice to pick. We then just talked about what kind of genre,popularity,mood it should be for the project for the rest of the period. The bell rang and everyone ran out f the class like it was on fire. "Bye." "Bye." We both said bye to each other. 

Heading out the front gate of the rich school and hard to get in school.I was in a hurry to get to my house to work on the project but I haven't thought of any yet. I reached home in ten minutes or less to see that my Mom was home already. I walked inside and Mom was making dinner for us. "Hey,Mom where's Dad and Vanessa?" "Vanessa's in her room,usual and Dad will be back when it's dinner time,so wash up." "OK." I ran to my room to see it open and I saw my sister digging in my closet. "What are you doing in my room?" "Just looking for a shirt to wear for tomorrow night." "Tomorrow night?" "Yeah,there is going to be a welcoming party for the year." "Really,why are you digging in my closet then,you have your own clothes that your already bought yesterday." "I know but I want a tighter one so that the guy can see my figure." "Really,your figure?It's already as if you broken the record for wanting the perfect body in the whole galaxy!" "Thanks." "That wasn't a compliment you...." "Found one!" It was one of my purple dresses that was sleeveless and had silver glitter.

"This will totally match with my white bow pumps." "You better not get it dirty or I'll take one of your dresses." "Ah,no how could you say that." She started to get all dramatic. She then went to the next door to her room while I too thought of taking out a an outfit for the party. I didn't find any fancy one so I drew out some of what I thought were fancy.I finally finalize that I was going to wear a two color dress,with a red pumps,red ruby ring,and instead of a bow necklace I'll go with my favorite my antique heart skeleton key.

I washed up and got into my casual home clothes and headed down stairs for dinner an hour thirty later.Dad was already back and sitting down at the table,while Mom and Vanessa set up the table. For dinner we had spaghetti and meatballs.We all sat down and ate while we talked. "Mom,there's going to be a welcoming party for everyone at school and me and Mae come?" "Well..." Mom looked at Dad,and Dad just nodded his head,and we all know that a nod means a yes. "It'll e good to make some friends." Dad said. "That's a good idea.Good thinking honey." Mom smiled at Dad and Dad smiled back.Like they were telekinetic. The spaghetti was good but I was tired that I wanted to sleep and not do the project and that's what I did. Sitting back on the bed with my belly full of spaghetti and meatballs I suddenly fell asleep.

"Hi." "Hi." Would you like a dance?" "Sure." There were people everywhere dancing and talking in the gym. I grabbed his hand and I began dancing to a song I haven't heard before and was suddenly looking up at a face I knew and was then back up looking at him straight onward. I thought I was in a magical place with all the glowing,magnificent,like shining stars dresses reflecting against the lights on the ceiling.
