       But What About The Moon?

 

What does the moon do? When the sun

takes over. Does it sleep in a house, with

trees and clovers?

 

Is it lonely for sunlight? Like I am in my bed.

Is there something we can do? Something

different instead?

 

The moon takes a break, giving the sun it's

turn. It rests, while it shines bright. It’s

turn to burn.

 

But what about the moon? Where does she go?

I don’t think its fare, does the whole world know?

 

Maybe they can share it, the sky is real big, one on

the right side, and the left of my head.

 

Ask her mom, tell her its o.k., that the moon

comes out too, they can share the day.

 

I think it could work, if they played well together,

talk to her mom, and make it all better.
