We Are LostA Poem by Yuzuki CrossYou are nothing but a contradiction to your own teachings
You preach love but breathe hatred
Hands that fear enemies
And are covered in friendly blood
The blood of the colleagues you once had
You have said they were feeble and weak
When you yourself feared such things as friendship
You considered these relationships as manipulations
Manipulations towards no one but yourself
How could you call yourself a high power?
When you have snooped so low to kill your brethren?
Humans we are; we are flawed
Perfections we have idolized
Yet destruction we have caused
Destruction that started with a gleam in one’s eyes
Which reflect onto onlookers, such as yourself
