Thus the moon will not shine

It takes two.

The sun has once again

Overcome the sky

 

The moon left behind

Like a shadow

 

But neither is one

Without the other

 

If this is so true

Can two incomplete beings

 

Truly and honestly

Become one?

 

If the sun were to die out

The stars will have no reflection

 

The moon would not lead our way

Lost are we without light

 

If the sun cannot stand

Neither will the moon

 

...
