String of Fate

String of Fate

A Poem by Scooter
"

Last poem I feel comfortable posting up here. No rhyme scheme, five words per line.

"

People are varying lengths of

yarn. Some people are just

one color, plain and simple,

while some are multi-colored,

exciting, spontaneous, unpredictable, and complex.

Most of the time people stick

together and become stronger than

those who remain in solitude.

Unexpected twists, turns, and knots.

Smoothing them out takes effort.

Working together yields shocking results,

sometimes good yet sometimes not.

People are individual strings of yarn,

working together, helping each other,

and having to overcome difficulties.

personally, i liked this poem. i think one of my favorite things about the way you set it up was that EVERY line ONLY had 5 words. I think its pretty creative how you also compared people to strings of yarn. i think the fact that you didnt use a rhyme made it even better! great job :D
