The Game She Plays

The Game She Plays

A Poem by Y.Badr El Din

Blonde hair, blues eyes, coming back,

Her aroma,

So sweet.

Hi!

She says, knowing that I am here.

She passes me, tension so high.

We both start laughing,

She knows, I know.

That epic moment during,

The game.

So beautiful, so brilliant,

Would never want to take back.

I am on my knees, crying,

From the pain in my belly, laughing.

She stands wondering, what is the difference between me and her.

This day, this moment, joy is upon us.

Let us rejoice,

 for her name is two,

Both different from each other,

Yet the same in concept.

Laugh, read, and rejoice,

While she plays around me.

 Life is but a game.
