The Howling Wolves

The Howling Wolves

A Poem by Y.Badr El Din

Me and you on a sunny day

She is one girl; there is no one like her
She is the most beautiful than in the least I’ve seen.

Look, she is like a star goddess arising
at the foundation of a happy new year;
brilliantly white, bright skinned;
with stunning eyes for looking,
with sweet lips for speaking;
she has not one phrase too many.

She is the angel of angels,

Her fingers like lotus flowers,

She is not but one individual.

Her thighs offer her beauty,
with a brisk step she treads on the earth.

She turns men into wolves

And truly she has imprisoned my heart in her embrace.
