Losing You

Just another day,

You’re really far away

The only thing I see is your heart reflecting into me.

As I gaze through the window

The air takes me within its depth

I see your beautiful smile and hope you’re next to me.

The hurt cuts deep,

The wound grows bigger,
In the vein of a scalpel gliding across my skin
Thinking of never seeing you again
The thought of losing you, I must admit
Love is blind and as you notice it,

It fades away and hurts my heart to quick.

Losing you is like someone passing away,

You might not know them for long, but you just want them to stay

Loving you is the best and the worst
Two travelling companions that once were one
Go separately now, our feelings are done
The thought of losing you, is reality now
I must travel alone somehow

I feel that I must never forget but always remember you.

I’ll miss you, sweet love

I think you should come back,

I think love is like a little brat

Someone annoying you,

And you want them to go away, for the extra laugh

You just want to stay, for that sensational tingle that you never want to go away.

This is what I think love is and I never want it to leave and with out it I would of never new the true day.

I thought losing you, won’t be a problem

Days past, mornings shined

I became etched in time
Demarcated before and after, and then I knew you were mine.
