Chains

Chains

A Poem by Yozora Misa

I close my eyes

When I know everyone is watching

I shut my mouth

As I listen to them talking

Brace my shivering body

When a whisper comes in my ear

Open the doors

So that I can see your black peals

Unseal those lips

And breathe the words of love

Let me ignite passion in those darken eyes

Let me redden those dry lips

Taken by the light of the moon

I seep into the night

Lead by the husky whisperer

Where we go

I don’t know

Even if bound by these chains to him

I don’t care

Cross the skies

And into the shadows

The chains jiggle

As he pulls me close

Do not close these eyes

Or shut these lips

I want to see those black pearls burn

And here that voice sing

Let me show you what love means

My eyes were open

But they did not burn

My lips parted

But I did not sing

Warmth seeps through my veins

And for the first time

These chains weren’t so heavy

For they were gone long ago
