My Inner Melody

My Inner Melody

A Poem by YoursTruly
"

A meaningful poem I wrote, during unpleasant times.

"

My Inner Melody

My inner melody,

It mutters not a word,

The bass thunders in the back,

My feelings are now heard.

My inner melody,

Which only my ears hear,

I shall not lose this tempo,

To me, it sounds so dear.

My inner melody,

No other sound compares,

I know the song will die,

I know the song will wear.

My inner melody,

The song has turned to hate,

You sour calls of evil,

I lie down, and try to wait.

My inner melody,

The whisp of wind has blew,

And now my song is over,

And it's all because of you...
