Dream to fail, Fail to dream

My turning point in life along with my inner thoughts about giving up on my dreams. Outgoing adolescence to an awkward, antisocial adult.

I won't sleep, because I'm afraid to dream

Can't dream because it brings me back to reality

And in reality, it shakes me to the core

The person I was before stands in front of me

It is plain to see that I've changed,

I've rearranged the names scribbled on my heart going from plenty to none

It had only just begun

I am the outsider that sees

The underdog that attempts to achieve 

and still fails

I want the old me back

I want those I loved back

I want my life back

Instead of staring blankly at a page

Writing of better days

And still existing under a cloud of hate

I will not change

I can't

Why dream to fail?

When you can fail to dream
