It’s easy to get lost in this mess

You’ve beat the rest

But love is a war

When you think you’ve won

Look again

If you need a friend

I’ll be right here

Waiting

If you think I forgot

I haven’t

I kept to my word

I stood in this war

I looked but found no one

I stood there

Waiting

Heaven is what we aim for

But I won’t enter

Till the war is over

Until then I’ll stand there

Waiting
