Nasty Snow!

Nasty Snow!

A Poem by Beka Perry

White snow all around,

Makes me feel so joyful

Inside my beating heart.

My mom told me

I need to stay outside.

But I’m so hungry,

I think I might die.

I look at the snow

That is glistening

On the ground.

I pick a handful

Of shiny white snow,

I shove it into

My warm unpleasant mouth.

The coldness on my tongue

Makes me shiver.

The snow taste amazing.

I must have another.

I find all different kinds,

Black snow,

Brown snow,

And even Yellow snow.

The black snow what hard,

The brown snow was squishy.

My mom calls me in,

I tell her about my fun.

I don’t understand,

She grounded when I said

“Mommy I was some

Yellow snow!”
