I used to call you a Dormouse.

I used to call you a Dormouse.

A Poem by Algae

I used to call you a dormouse,
You were always asleep.
It’s unlawful, turns out,
to disturb a dormouse in its nest.
So baby, you should have had me arrested,
I had no license,
unless the status of 'girlfriend’ counts.
