The Damned

The Damned

The Damned

Outside the sun is rising
Holding in the sky

Inside my fears are singing,
Droplets in the eye.

My love is like a boatman
looking for the shore

Bereft of all devotion

Waiting for the fall

I like this... the sun waiting for the speaker to find love...but the speaker is too fearful of it...and cannot devote his heart...because he is always waiting for the other shoe to drop....

I let a couple really promising relationships go because I was in a period like this...so I ran away before she could....a few times.
