Halloween

its for the spirit of halloween

I come on an eery night every year

People go to get filled with fear

Many creatures walk down the streets

Getting their bags filled with delicious treats

I hear a scream in the night

Piercing ears with a devilish fright

I see jack-o-lanterns across the lawn

Some are carved into a scary yawn

Dont get lost, dont you dare

You will be in for quite a scare

Faces hidden behind a mask

Going out to complete their task

The night is over in such a hurry

But there is no reason to worry

I come back every year

Ready to fill more hearts with fear
