Date At The Park

A guy that i really liked asked me on a date but it was ruined by school rumors

For once I was over joyed

But yet again it was soiled

My patience had finally paid off

But i guess that i was to far off

It was a fun day at the park

I thought I felt a spark

Music played in the background

It was such a wonderful sound

We were like children again

Innocent to sin

We floated on the swings

I felt as if i had wings

Sadly it couldnt last

It would soon be in the past

I was having fun

But he was on the run

We arrived at my home

Where there was me alone

Then we enclosed the space

With a friendly embrace

very powerful imagery, 4th line , i think it should be " but i guess that i was too far off" , nonetheless it has a nice beat to it and i like it. Good job XD XD
