Dreams

A Poem by Smithie Austin McLyn
"

Just A Dream

"

Lost in my own dreams of love that may never come true but never losing hope

Just holding on to the slightest bit of light that roams through my heart

With you in my mind everything seems to be plain and simple

Your eyes and lips keep me a hostage in my own heart

Trying to overcome this sensation of hopeless love towards you

But as I see my feelings keep me from forgetting you

Many may call a fool for loving you

But for me a fool would lose hope and forget about you...

As hard as it maybe to believe it but really only you rule in this heart

Never less I loose contact with reality as I seem to escape into your eyes.

Such a blissful, peaceful poem! Being in love is supposed to make everyone in the world feel happy...no wonder some people value that gift and search for it so frequently.
