Silence

Silence

A Poem by Smithie Austin McLyn
"

Her

"

Suffering in silence with a wound that kills me slowly

My words seemed to be carried away with the wind

Fear invades my body not knowing what I could possibly be able to do.

My mind goes blank and my life seems to pass me by

Thoughts of you invade my mind

Causing my blood to rush through my body

Suddenly freeing my from this unknown disease that causes me to shiver.

The solution you create within me is summed up in 3 words

Just 3 words that state ……I love you.
