Bitter Cold

Bitter Cold

A Poem by Viki Rachel
"

It's snowing.

"

I hear the elders grumble,

Of the children throwing snow.

It might break the damn window--

I bet the kids don't know.

A man doesn't favor the snow well,

He says, "I don't like this at all,

"What if I catch a cold?

"And must give the doctor a call?"

Though many will complain,

I must say I love the snow.

And the bitter cold doesn't feel bitter to me--

No, not at all.

I love how you rhyme so smoothly! I can never do that.

I love it very much, the first stanza most of all. Your introduction doesn't bore me, it interests me. This is how poems are so much like stories.

I love love love it :)
