Sunshine and Daisies

The essence of the sunny season.

Sunshine and daisies,

And merry red wine.

People dancing in their garden,

Simply having a good time.

 

Sunshine and daisies,

And roses white and proud.

The women, rather gayly,

Play their music quite loud.

 

Sunshine and daisies,

And young summer love.

They kiss under the warm tears

Of the angels above.

 

Sunshine and daisies,

And warm summer showers.

Colorful moods,

And colorful flowers.

 

Sunshine and daisies,

Children playing outside.

Parents sip their wine,

As their troubles subside.

 

Sunshine and daisies,

Are leaving slowly now.

The sunshine is rare,

And the daisies are brown.

 

Sunshine and daisies,

Will come again soon;

Just wait one more year

And 300 more moons.
