Sent from heaven far above Olympus, goddess, Aphrodite Just my type arms of a dove Spread you wings and fly away Your heart you place inside of me So I must ask I must say Do angels ever fall in love???
Lust and hate Love and war Must everything be aciculate Swords and knifes Cupids arrows tells us that love hurts So I must ask I must say
Do angels ever fall in love???
Do angels ever fall in love gods and goddess Son of Poseidon Daughter of Eurus Mortals given birth But never has an angel been touched Not even Lucifer have had sexual intercourse
Please leave reviews, comments, corrections (grammar) subjections. Also if could analyze it because as I writer I want to grow so please help me grow. I am trying to be name amongst the greats

What is aciculate? I guess we are yet to find if angels ever fall in love, perhaps we can be angels then, unless they are set apart, an angel is unfamiliar and strange yet beautiful, of course they fall in love though perhaps they do it differently, maybe they have to figure out what it means for themselves as we do, unless we can be like them

Clever...higher beings of a higher consciousness, morale, thought and power yet mortal us have the luxury of "eros"....thinkin outside the box ma, love it...
A interesting concept, Alex, with a dynamic delivery. The last line has a grammatical error … you do not need present perfect … just had sexual intercourse is fine and if you choose to keep the present perfect is is has not have.
This one is thought-provoking and asks the reader to think outside of the box..
I do have a few suggestions.. just my opinion.. for what it is worth..
on the title, did you mean "angels" instead of angles?....
(Spread you wings and fly away).. did you mean "your" instead of "you?"
(Swords and knifes)... did you mean "knives" instead of "knifes?"
(Cupid('s) arrows tells us that love hurts)... would add apostrophe and either change arrows to arrow, or tells to tell.. flows better.. (at least in my head)...
not sure about that last line.. again, just my opinion.. would reword and use something besides "intercourse".. keep the dreamy, mythological, enchanting feel of the piece.. overall, nicely done.

Usually it's my dear old mother who's always chastening me on my grammar. It's just when I get the creative juices flowing I miss the detail and I hate going over my work and correcting so I just let her do it (lol). I am working on it but thanks for the ideas and also I am still looking for an editor :)
this is a most unusual poem in ways i can't define, it has something different from anything i have read before and i mean that in a good way, its an interesting take on not just angels but the Gods of Greece too and i believe the end with Lucifer suddenly appearing was a masterstroke, you say Alex that you want to be amongst the greats, i guess we all here aspire to that and its some achievement to do that, just keep on with poems of this quality and imagination and who knows one day I might be reading your books :)
