The Morning Times

The Morning Times

A Poem by Alex Boyd
"

A poem about how I woke up one morning feeling

"

Woke up by the sun's ray of light through my shades

I open the window and let the morning breeze in

As air fills up my lungs I felt empower by it and I jump out the window

Landing in a pool of sparkling grass as the scent of the morning hits my nostrils

I close my eyes and enjoying the smell of the grass and flowers and listen to the morning

As music begins to play

The birds and the bugs made up an orchestra

Engulf by sweet soft sounds

I flew away

nice poem with fine notes to imaginary.
Pleasent read.
Landing in a pool of sparkling grass
It could be 'tapping feet on soft sparkling grass'
Otherwise a nice poem.

I wish my mornings were more like this. :)
I'm grumpy zombie until I've had coffee and food.
Sweet poem.
