Rainy Nights

Rainy Nights

A Poem by Alex Boyd
"

Just a sweet poem that I wrote a long time ago

"

As I sat on my porch enjoying the illuminate sky

The moon begins to cry and as the tear fell upon the

Mother earth with plitter platter the bugs conjure a little jig

I sat and listen to the chirp, clicking, and the flutter of the wings

...

As they dance to their music under the midnight breeze

Oh how I wanted to join to feel the wetness of the sky

And the vivacity of the music amongst the bugs

As I sat on my porch  taken in the sights

Oh how I enjoy those rainy nights!!!

I still don't understand rain. I mean, what it does to human opinion. How, when you consider it,
it balances opposing factors or aspects in order to reach a choice or conclusion. That is,
whether it oozes forth, pounds the roof, or flows sluggishly or in drops, it impacts us
in differing ways.

The bathroom floor was cold this morning. The milk too warm for Cheerio's. So I found this
poem for all the instances of good counterbalance and measure. well done/
