Sink

Sink

A Poem by Young Mountain
"

The 1st in a series of 11 shorts I started last year titled "Behind The Empty Curtain".

"
I'm treading in the distance & you won't even try & look
If I scream will you hear me
If I shout will you stay
I'm invisible out here but I keep hoping that you'll save me,
that you'll love me
but it's a dream & I walk alone.
Everyone that passes looks ahead with a blank stare,
gone like a whisper both day & night.
Hidden & locked away, your hand is not at the rescue
It was never there
It was only a thought
an Illusion of empty.....
