Riddles!

Riddles!

A Poem by Christopher Robin
"

A few riddles of my creation for you fellow word-players to decipher!

"

Riddles!

Just when you thought you’d heard them all, I’ve come up with a few riddles. No Google searching for answers, these are purely my own creations. Each of them is a ‘What am I?’ type of riddle. I will order them easiest to hardest, comment on the riddles themselves, or try to answer them if you can; we’ll see who can guess them first out of you clever lot!

1.

I’m better in bed than your friends or your mother,

I’m out of the closet yet well undercover.

Beat me or love me you won’t make me hard,

I’m good for all sizes, from tiny to large.

I’m there to support you, whilst living or dead,

You’ll soon understand if you just use your head!

2.

Compared to gold, yet more heavy than lead,

I’m most often heard where nothing is said.

One minute a year is all I require,

A student’s worst talent, a teacher’s desire.

3.

I only live because you live, but I will live after you die,

I can give you all of you, whilst you give me your eye.

I can live in many things, in water, glass and stone,

Yet the easiest place to find me, is often in your home.

4.

Evolved from a stone that I keep in my home,

I’m the greatest author the world has ever known.

Never given credit for the work which was my own,

There is not a kingdom that I cannot dethrone.

There is not a symphony that I cannot compose,

There exists no problem I cannot diagnose.

I have trapped the gods, and heaven only knows,

I had a hand along the way, assisting I suppose.

Good Luck !

Pillow, silence,(is golden,) a reflection, And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tablets of stone.

Other than that, number four has me stumped.

Beccy.
