A Chapter by John Carver

In the days when Himug was king and Hiagpoa was Highest Priest, the Children of Hositma came out of the holes in the ground and lived in tents made of animal hides and linens and people like the hides from the mountains and foothills more than just sheepskins and the cowhide. It was considered a higher status to use badger hides especially.

Now A Righteous Man of the Plain he Is or Armotphi always obeyed God so he made him rich in cattle, sheep, donkeys and camels. But God kept promising him an heir of his own body though he had many slaves both man servants and female servants from the foothills and mountains and his wife said to him, “Go ahead Armotphi and marry my handmaid, Apssi or A Perfect Servant She Is and have a son with him for it is past my time and this heir God is talking about must be her child for I am passed childbearing age. What else can it be?”

But the people said, “It is adultery even though his wife was party to it and even partial to the idea.”

So when the baby was born he was called He Is the Promised One of God or Hitpoog the son by the servant girl. He went with Armotphi and his wife She is a Beauty Again or Siaba to the foothills where he bought animal skins and traded the cursed offspring’s furs for cloth and other things. The Cursed Offspring of Hositma or the Cooh profited and the Children of Hositma got what they considered status items from the Cooh and Armophi got rich.

But people asked Jesus, “Why is Armotphi so blessed when he is a Cooh? Is it better to be cursed than to be a child of purity for God cannot grant him children from Siaba now. It would be defiled for she is as much cursed as is Hitpoog and Armotphi for what they have done.”

“He is a righteous man,” God said, “And he is in me, even as Othas who schooled Hositma to be your father was. He will be a blessing to all families on the planet and Siaba is a queen.”

“True,” said a lawyer by the name of Brilliant in the Law of All or Bitloa to Hiagpoa, “He was a king of his Piac as are all the males in a Piac. But we are not the Children of Othas though he was no adulterer and had never committed a crime other than to beat his wife. Will he not have to go down to the abyss? The people are sinning to buy his goods. He is to be treated as if he were dead, not made rich by them.”

Hiagpoa said, “Let him and his kingdom be cursed but leave him alone. No one was hurt but them for they live with the guilt of what they have done and his descendants will have the guilt passed on to them from him.”

But God rebuked Hiagpoa saying, “Would you limit the power of a king?”

“A king is still a Child of Hositma who was purer than Othas and Armotphi is an adulterer even for marrying a dead woman, the daughter of a Cooh who was dead,” Bitloa argued. “It is because he is rich he is favored. He is not a righteous man. He should be treated as any dead man.”

“The Cooh must not be considered dead in the eyes of God,” Hiagpoa said. “What do you say, Jesus?”

“He is cursed now,” Jesus said, “But if before he dies to do something right what he has done with the Cooh then he will be righteous.”

“He cannot be trusted not to do it again,” Bitloa argued, even with Jesus, “That is why he is cursed as much as for destroying the sacred Piac.”

“Armotphi is cursed,” Jesus said, “He can never be as God in Aptlief. But how do you know whether I have saved him to a better resurrection than the others of the Cooh?”

Even Bitloa was silent and dared not raise any more questions. So Armotphi continued to trade with the Chrildren of Hospitma the goods of the Cooh.

Then when God caused Armotphi to have a son with Siaba they were so happy they both accepted Jesus as king even King of kings and fell in love with Jesus so that when he was raised from the abyss he was raised but he was made a god because he was changed to that he was before he married Apssi the servant girl. She was even saved though her ancestors were cursed when she did likewise and her son Hitpoog was even saved and the son that was promised to Armotphi and Siaba was also saved though his family was cursed and became as God in Aptlief. Therefore when Armotphi’s kingdom came the One Promised to Armotphi or Opta so it was said was to be a god though neither he nor his father had a kingdom to call their own and Armorphi’s kingdom was not defiled by sin paid for by Jesus’ death as were all people before forever was reached.

The practice of making slaves of those in the foothills and mountains continued but when they were saved they were often freed, especially if their masters were saved  which they all were because everyone in plain loved Jesus as had Hospitma.

The Cooh of the foothills and mountains were soon outnumbered in generations to come for many became slaves and when they did Jesus saved them and they when freed went back to bring Jesus to the Cooh. The Cooh did not belong to the Piac nor did they keep it as a practice as did the Children of Hospitma. They ignored it until saved by Jesus.
