What an interesting part the eyes are

They tell more emotion than any other part

Even when the body is saying I am happy as day

The eyes speak the truth

I am hurting, Help Me!

Just like that one winters day

When your body went through the daily routine

Your words came spewing form your mouth

But when I stared into your sapphire eyes

They weren't shining like they used to

They spoke pain and sadness

They lost their glow

No matter how much you tried

I could always see through you

Even when you said you would be okay

Your pain pierced my soul

I watched you go through your final months

You were so strong 

And I was useless

I could only stare into your dimming eyes

Even as we stood under the Fool's Moon

Your eyes never shined like they used to

Until your final seconds 

When you were released from your pain

Your eyes glowed majestically

Flowing with tears
