Jester Princess

I am a deceptive person at heart

I can trick people

I can pretend to be happy

Even when I am hurting the most I can smile

I smile when tears want to pour out

When I start to cry

When I start to show anguish

That is my heart crying out

My broken heart wanting solace

People may see me as a jester

But I am truly a princess

Wanting to be rescued

Crying in terror 

As I am imprisoned in enemy hands
