Through My Eyes

Through My Eyes

A Poem by Yoshiyuki
"

This poem is a twin poem. I made one in the perspective of my self and one through hers.

"
I stand in a dark abyss
Yet I am not alone
A girl stands in front of me
A familiar face
Of a girl I see every night
Her eyes are full of pain, sadness, and hate
But why does she smile?
Why does she have this smile that tells me shes ok?
Does she really like this dark abyss?
The dark abyss that has been her home for so long
The abyss is made up nothing
Absolutely nothing
Just plain darkness
Yet she doesnt belong here
The abyss shields her from evil
But cannot shield her from the loneliness
She so close to me I can touch her
Yet, so far out of reach
Can I save her from this hell?
Or will she decide to stay in this abyss in an eternal rest?
But at last the question must be asked to end this never ending dream
I finally break the silence
After the ear shattering silence dream after dream
Is this never ending dream going to end?
Once the question is asked will I be able to accept the answer?
