Satoshi: A Fathers Love

Satoshi: A Fathers Love

A Poem by Yoshiyuki

Staring through a empty sky he stares
Aware of nothing around him
To him his precious jewel will soon depart
Only one person could make her the happiest person alive
Sadly he knows it is not him
However, unlike him he is holding on strong
In a pitiful state he lets the flow of tears crash down
A father will not show his tears to his daughter
For a long time he struggled to make her happy
Afar, watching her constantly lose hope
The disease slowly dulling his jewel
He could only watch as she edged closer to the edge
Every day he has wished that his daughter would truly be happy
Regret filled his heart, till that fateful day
She started to shine, with the help of an angel
Loving her, embracing her with all that he had
Only he could, a stranger who knew her pain
Very subtle cries of happiness could be heard from his soul
Everyday he looks upon his daughter with a smile, her shine was as beautiful as ever
