The Final Act?

The Final Act?

A Poem by Yoshiyuki

In the midst of my life
I have chosen to close the curtains
I have chosen to let them fall
I feel the final performance is coming to a close.
This dance which I have performed countless times
Will finally bear its fruits
It has been a good life
But sometime through life
The dance must end
But that doesn't mean its  over
It just means a new dance will be born
For the new dance to be created
I need a pair of hands to hold
A pair of hands to guide me to a new
I can only do so much
So I hold out my hand
May I have this dance?
