Extraordinary Claims Require Extraordinary EvidenceA Poem by YokaiShinigamiRead on, it's something to think about. There is a God There is no such thing. What if you're wrong? What if you go to hell? Your chances aren't much greater than mine. However you must believe otherwise you will suffer, have faith. I don't have faith, faith is not a virtue, It is a disease that destroys reason. It is a plague that feeds on the weak. It is a curse that stops us from asking questions. It is a fist that makes us cower to an imaginary being. That is faith. Reason is the cure for mankind It is the medicine against ignorance. It is the lens for the truth (as little of it as we may find) It will never stop it's search, and it will leave us in awe, of the majesty of our universe. You tell me that there is a God, I tell you there isn't. I tell you scientific theory is most likely to be right, you ask me for evidence. I have made an extraordinary claim, so here is my extraordinary evidence. You have made your claim, but expect me to blindly believe it. Well I will tell you this much. Any claim that can be asserted without evidence, can be refuted without evidence. And no 2000 year old books don't prove anything other than that they were written 2000 years ago. And yes your personal hallucinations or misinterpretations of natural phenomenon are invalid as well. © 2010 YokaiShinigamiFeatured Review
