Through your eyes

This poem does have meaning to me, I loved her till the floods of 2007 destroyed her.

I walked the road to paradise

The world seemed so different 

through your eyes

You told me, you would save my soul

But when the time came

you'd desert my world

All I saw was wrath and pride

Your fear so great, left with

no place to hide

Your gaze, so sharp, it gave me wounds, 

scars, once forgotten 

reopened too soon. 

And so I hope you may rest in peace, 

in your eternal slumber, in your endless sleep

And so I pray you find your peace, 

As I'm left to wander, up this hill so steep.
