Scarecrows

Scarecrows

A Poem by Yoga Pramartha

I saw a little green,
I saw a paddy field,
I saw a stony road,
A little part of me thought
"Hey, how did I end up here,
With this bunch of scarecrows?"

I saw a little hut,
I saw a granary,
I smelled the lovely cloves,
The scent that pulled my brain out,
"Hey, how did I end up here,
On this bed of haystack?"

But under the blue sky I felt so much at home,
So don't blame me if sometimes I miss this place
Cause under the blue sky I felt so much at home,
So don't blame me if sometimes I miss this place

Beautiful ending. A work with vivid imagery, and a solid flow from one line to the next. Downright amazing.

About
I recall the day when I sit down alone on the bench underneath an oak tree. That was when I realized that I am an introvert, nature is the only true friend of mine. I see no sillhouette over the sun t.. more..
