The Path

The Path

A Poem by Vicky Zhuang Yi-Yin
"

The journey we all must partake...

"

The path so lone

The cold wind, bitter

No hope ever shone

For us, weary travelers

The path so crooked

Destination unknown

The distraction so wicked

But we keep going on

The path we walk

Every man, every woman

Our end shadow all

But where else do we run

The path so intricate

Dreams made or broken

Victors and losers, all frustrate

Tales of all are briefly spoken

And the path itself is a story unto itself. Sometimes we look to our goal and not at the path unfolding before us. We can all learn and love on that path, as well as lose and hurt. But the meandering path itself holds much for us if we care to pay attention. Nice poem

. yes, it's not an easy path ... but with the right ingredients ... it can definitely be very, very rewarding ... very well-written again ... skillful, sensitive and powerful ...

each footstep on this journey creates a print of individual us but through the soil all our prints blend on the trails we follow~ father taught me young that it's not the beginning or the end of the journey that matters but the footsteps within the journey and where we chose to plant our feet~
excellent poetic~

Lovely in its truth..lovely because of the chosen melancholy words...lovely because we have all felt this though unable to express it as well as You have..
Your work is very balanced
