Its A Cold and Its A Broken HallelujahA Poem by Vasi Isaac Masia (Ake)This poem is about a young Christian whose love for Christian faith grew cold but life outside of church feels boring and he is lonely. Upon returning he was being judged but he clinged onto A VOICE.
THERE IS BEAUTY IN THE WRECKAGE.
~It's A Cold & Its A Broken Hallelujah. ~ajm In shadows cast by doubt and strife, A young soul turned away from light, Once bathed in faith, now lost in the night, His hallelujah, cold as ice. A journey far from Christian grace, He wandered through a lonely space, The warmth of love he did replace, With emptiness, a cold embrace. Yet deep within his searching heart, A flicker of hope, a brand-new start, He longed to mend the broken part, To find his way back to the chart. He dreamt of church, of sacred halls, Where judgment's weight no longer falls, But faces stern, like prison walls, Left him outside its sacred calls. Though others doubted, turned away, He found the courage, chose to stay, For in his heart, he heard Him say, "Come back, dear child, don't lose your way." A prodigal son, he came back home, With tears of joy, no longer alone, The Good LORD's love, a steady tone, Embraced him, claimed him as His own. With every step, his faith renewed, A journey back, his soul pursued, For in that grace, so pure and true, He found his place, a hallelujah. It's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah, But through the trials and doubt, a love to renew, In the arms of God, his spirit grew, A testament to faith, forever true. #akejuniormasia © 2023 Vasi Isaac Masia (Ake) |
