razor's edge uncut foreverA Poem by Yheelawhat's the point in allt this screaming, you're not listening anyway
you hit me, like nothing's ever hit me before. cut through me and my defenses as if there was no resistance. I throw myself at you, lay traps in your path. you shrug me off and go in a different direction. leaving me bleeding and a prisoner of my own devices.
you blind me, like not even the sun's blinded me before. you cloud my mind; spin me around as if your mere presence shut my senses down. I fight through the mist, try catching up with you. every time, you slip through my fingers, leaving them cold as ice. you make me cry, like none ever has before. never will I touch you, kiss you, be yours. always will you cut me, walk away, leave me shivering. as if I'm no more than bloodless whispers in the wind. © 2012 YheelaReviews
