Bottle green waves of sadness

Bottle green waves of sadness

A Poem by Yheela

This deeply disturbing sadness feels so threatening.

It's like seeing a huge wave coming at me

and all I can do is try to hold my breath,

try not to get disoriented when it hits me.

Swept away by something cold, salty, clear as glass

yet deep green.

My days are like living outside of time,

wounds can't heal

and I never stop falling.

This deeply disturbing sadness is all I know.

Can't breathe, can't think, can't swim, not sinking, no nothing.
