Just Breathe And Then Keep Going

Just Breathe And Then Keep Going

A Story by Krean Cabalang

Have you been battling with life lately? Have you been feeling hopeless these days? Have you been struggling the past few weeks? Have you been dying inside for the last couple of months? Have you thought that living is exhausting?

Well, I wrote this one for you.

We all know that life is kind of very dramatic and randomly unpredictable. Last week you were untroubled, but this week you are overwhelmed with problems. Last few months you were satisfied and fulfilled, but this month you are agitated, confused and suddenly tired. This happens once in a while if not, most of the time because life happens and s**t happens.

But you know what? Life may be throwing stones at you, but you shouldn't be bothered. Why? Because you are never ever alone. A lot of people around the world is having the same problems as yours. May it be in your same country, region, or the other side of the globe, they feel the same way, struggle the same way, are in pain and hurting like you do, tired and bringing their baggage as heavy as you do. You see? You are human and what you are going through is normal. Remind yourself that it is just a phase. A transition. A journey. A rough road you need to take for you to become the person you are meant to become-- resilient, wise, brave, persistent and with sense of purpose.

When you are feeling so stressed out-- stop and take some time to breathe. Help yourself out. Buy yourself your comfort food. Meditate. Drink refreshments. Sleep. Take a rest. Bring yourself somewhere solemnity is abundant. Do some activities involving in nature. Sometimes, all you need is a good rest and a great view.

Love yourself and respect your life enough to do these little things for you to recover.

However, I'ts okay if all you ever did today was survive. It's okay if all you ever did today was breathe. It's okay if you're taking small steps. It's okay if you're taking everything one by one. It's okay if it's a slow progress. Slow progress but consistent result is way better than not trying and not moving forward at all. As long as your hopeful that you will get there, you will get there. Hold on to that because that will lead you on. Open your eyes and see the little things, the positive ones that God is allowing and giving you. Whatever the propitious or promising seconds that is happening to you right now-- Embrace it. It will inspire you.

Keep your faith powerful. It may not solve the messiness you have in life but it will give you a sense of hope, a relief, a light that will keep you going. God sees and knows everything. The mask you are wearing and the excruciating agony you are trying to hide. Release it all to Him. Be True to Him. Surrender everything to Him. Pray your burdens to Him. Spill out your worries to Him. He is just waiting for you call Him and speak up.

God has made plans for you even before you were born and this now you are going through is part of His plan. So hold on. Keep holding unto Him, never let Him go no matter what happens because He is just right behind you, you may not feel it but He is there. His answer might not be YES to your prayers right now, but for sure His answer will never be a NO. Be patient and trust Him.

Jeremiah 29: 11
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Cheer up because your problems are nothing to your God.
Cheer up because you are made wonderfully and fearfully strong.
Cheer up because you will get better at the end of this battle.
Cheer up because you will become the best version of your self that you've been praying for.
Cheer up because you are amazing, you are capable, you are beautiful, you are His child.
Cheer up because you can do it and you can make it through the storms because you have Him.

Isaiah 41:10

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

"We only got ourselves at the end of the day. Practice-self love and practice strong will of faith. Call your best friend named Jesus and then just breathe and then keep going."
