Just OnceA Poem by InitiumThis isn't my actual feelings, just how I see stereotypes. Keep in mind, I am not religious, and if what I said about God offends you, comment away. My literary work is of importance to me.If I was a man for one day, Just once, that’s all, I think I’d be a strong one. I’d be a stable one. I’d be a wanted one. If I was a woman for one day, Just once, that’s all, I think I’d be a pretty one. I’d be a feminine one. I’d be an elegant one. If I was homeless for one day, Just once, that’s all, I think I’d be an old one. I’d be a dirty one. I’d be a poor one. If I was gay for one day, Just once, that’s all, I think I’d be a fabulous one. I’d be a dancing one. I’d be one to love pink. If I was God for one day, Just once, that’s all, I think I’d be disgusted. I’d be ashamed of my children. I’d question whether to abandon. © 2011 Initium |
