The Great Humiliation

The Great Humiliation

A Poem by Initium

Was it rejection
or was it subjection
to a great humiliation,
dark but true?
Or was it flirting?
Is it just me you're hurting?
Working, so much working,
just to be reminded of you.
You're captivating,
and though I should be hating,
I still dream of dating
you, only you.
I was the one you wanted,
but now I'm haunted
that I left the chance daunted,
but I'm still in love with you.
