Strange Love

Strange Love

A Poem by WisdomGarden120

Strange Love
Those who are heartless,
don't think they are saints

Those who are liars,
don't always mean to cause pain

Those who are hurtful,
know not what they do

It's just the demons
inside me and you

We don't mean to shout,
We don't mean to fight,
We don't mean to anger you late into the night

Our love does exist,
though hard to find

We just can't express it,
we don't stand in the light

We like the darkness,
it brings us peace

We like the sadness,
standing alone in the trees

When we want a hug,
we push people away

When we want some comfort,
we don't ask loved ones to stay

We don't know how,
it's not in our blood

So please never question
our strange type of love

Author's Note

WisdomGarden120
I've come to realize that I can come across as mean, uncaring, heartless, I've even been called a sociopath before. I don't realize this. I'm not good at expressing feelings or emotions very well, and when I do it can be explosive and interpreted in the wrong ways and I don't know how to fix it because I understand myself, but making others see through my eyes is kinda impossible. I dunno guess this one is about others who are like this.
