Shut Up and Change

Shut Up and Change

A Poem by WisdomGarden120

Shut Up and Change
The world didn't break me,
I broke myself
I locked all my problems in a box on the shelf.

It's sat there for years
just gathering dust
While all I did was lay here,
thinking life was unjust.

Don't any of you lie,
you've all done it too
blaming others for misfortune
or a love that was untrue.

We're always the victims,
We're never to blame
Like when girls say
"All men are the same!"

People are selfish,
People are rude,
and we refuse to believe
that we all are too.

So find that damn key,
and open it up!
It's time that our "problems"
had a say in our f**k ups.
