IMPRINTS ON LIFE

This is a peice my husband ,Arnob, and I have written about a picture.I clicked a picture of a foliage of a tree from below and as we taked about it, we ca me up wuth this.hope you all will like it :)

Leaves on branches,
Sky behind a tree,
Shadows on the ground,
Life you can see.

A thought for a reason,
When all was for nought,
The sunset of a season,
Before a dawn, that was not.

And here I am,
in flesh and bone;
With so much felt,
but nothing known.

Fragments of time,
In shades of grey;
Under brambles & grime,
Thoughts wither away.

Fragments of space,
Pine to be one.
A Concious race,
Awakens none.

A flash of light,
My senses numb!
In blinding white,
Awaken none...

At last I feel,
Each breath and thought,
To softly reveal,
A little....., a lot!

I love it when pictures inspire us to write......this is very descriptive and emotive.

However, I would suggest to remove your names.....sometimes in a collab (even a casual one) one could distinguish two writers through bold or italic verses and leave a "key" below so that the readers mind can be completely transported by the words and not distracted by names......:)
