The real me

nobody can really see me but the ones i care about know who i am and how i really feel

you see a girl who is crazy

who can be weirder than anything you've ever seen before

but do you know the real me

the real person I hide inside

scared to be shown and laughed at by many

do you know I am not really dumb

or weird, crazy or strange

I have been told by people that do know me that

I am smarter than i make it seem

I am funny not crazy

and i am not the person you see

all you see is a mask

worn to cover the real me

because i am scared of everyone beating me down

and making me only a person hid by my suicidal thoughts

covering who i really am and nobody see's my thoughts of suicide til they've seen my wrists

and how this fear can hurt me

so don't be like me

be your own person and don't be afraid of ridicule

be afraid of how you can be so scared you would hurt yourself but

DON'T be scared like i was

Be free to be you no matter who see's

I can see the innocence of a person who writes this. This poem can be taken as .... the true state of several peoples,,,,,,,,,they try to be what they are not and even at times people take them as ...what they are not............................this really makes this world a place full of mis-understading and mishaps...........................Very nicely written poem , I loved it :-)

True wisdom is not caring about the opinions of others. We must lead our own life and do what we desire. Try to find some happiness. A new day and place can change the direction of a life. Thank you for the excellent poem.
