My Nabi

My Nabi

A Poem by Yasmin_small

Peace be upon him
The one who split the moon in half
The one without sin
Who had eleven wives and still became equal
As I recall stories of hardships I cry in sadness to how I wish I could have been a wing man fighting next to him in battles
With his face full of Noor
I wonder to the sins I committed
As I could never reach that level
But as I ponder and let my thoughts run
I smile
Because if I wasn't in his ummat I wouldn't have knew his illustrious character
My Nabi
My Rasool
Who has brought to us clear guidance and makd us become steadfast
Who the Quran was revealed to
And fought for this religion to stand high
My Nabi
My prophet
Who is light upon all lights
And as I finish this
I pray to see him in the everlasting paradise
With the ummat sitting by his side
My Nabi Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم
